My Background:
I received my Masters in Social Work from Boston University in May 1995 and have worked as a Clinical Social Worker here in Illinois since moving here in 1997. I am a mom of four very active and wonderful children.
Along with my private practice in Barrington-I work as a Social Worker at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. I have found that working in both the private and public sector keeps me current and connected in my profession.
My treatment modality is individual and family counseling with expertise in cognitive/behavior therapy. I believe that you, your time and your money are valuable! My focus is to provide an empathic and safe environment where we work together in solution focused-goal oriented sessions. My focus is on the present and in teaching and empowering my clients with knowledge, hope and skills that change their lives.
